Flashy, AGILE and tractable

Born in Scotland and imported to the US, Bonnie is the style of dog that closely resembles the original Scottish Golden Retriever developed at Guisachan by Lord Tweedmouth. She is very agile and athletic, has medium lean build for a female, a dark smooth field coat and as expected adaptable to all sorts of weather and terrain. She stands about 22.5” at the withers providing excellent visibility in all afield situations, lean in the head and a very streamlined body. Very important to us here at Resolute is She is very tractable - she is easy to train and gets new concepts easily and quickly commits them to memory. Se breezed through basic and intermediate training and gained her Hunting Retriever title just as she turned 2 passing every test entered. She is very steady at the line and in the blind. She has no problem sitting quietly for hours, honoring other working dogs patiently and quietly waiting for her turn to retrieve. She stays focused on what is in front of her while working and at the same time keeps an eye on what is happening with her handler and gun in hand.

Rory is the result of many excellent breedings before him. His pedigree is all field both sides of his pedigree. His parents are proven. His grandparents are proven. In fact, every dog in his 3 generation pedigree are field titled finished retrievers. Rory and all of his siblings were retrieving birds and and puppy bumpers at 6 weeks of age.
