We are super excited for this breeding with “Remi” at Black Ridge Goldens in Utah. Last year the owner Jayden Brian stopped into the Resolute Ranch to meet Rory and see him work. He left and later told me, “We really like everything about Rory, drive, athleticism, focus…all of it. Then the icing on the cake is his build, looks, coat, color. Just a fantastic dog. I want to improve with the studs that I have paired our dogs with, and Rory definitely fits that”. Remi is an AKC titled Junior Hunter and seasoned waterfowl retriever.

RORY” X “HONEY - 5 MALES, 5 FEMALES BORN 6/1/23
Here is another nice breeding planned for late this year and it takes place right here in Texoma (Texas/Oklahoma). Like most all the Rory breedings these dogs should excel at all performance venues (gun dog, hunt tests, agility, dock diving, etc..) with tractability to get your training there fast. Ancestors from this pairing have strong field dogs on both sides, a strong outcross that calculates into a super low 2.47% Coefficient of Inbreeding (COI). Honey like Rory is fast and athletic so I would expect nothing less from the puppies these two produce.

RORY X LUNA(repeat breeding) - BORN 5/7/23 4 FEMALES, 6 MALES
Broken Sky Kennels out of Nebraska has been producing great field golden retrievers for years and I am excited that he is including Rory in his breedings. He saw something special in Rory when they hung out the summer of 2020 and quickly decided to breed with Leto in the fall of 2020 (see Leto below) and seeing how that first litter is doing, again in 2021. This breeding with Luna in late 2022 is also a repeat breeding, which speaks to the quality of puppies and associated feedback from the first breeding. Expect puppies in this breeding to have a dark field coat, lots of desire, trainability and that patience in the blind when ducks are not flying. Peach is extremely eager to please and is lightning fast. Like Rory, she has a drive to retrieve that is hard to beat, very athletic, and seems to always be carrying something in her mouth. She can turn off her high drive and is gentle around the kids and family. Peach weighs 54lbs.
